The Revs. Garth Forster, Don King, and David Smith officiated. Burial followed in Lamar Memory Gardens, under the direction of Williams White Columns Funeral Home. Mr. Harrison passed away Tuesday, June 11, in the Upson Regional Hospital. Mr. Harrison was a native of Wrightsville, Ga., in Johnson County, but made his home in Lamar County most of his adult life. He is the son of the late Mr. Shelton Wadsworth Harrison, and the late Mrs. Bertha Clarke Harrison. Mr. Harrison was a retired extension agent, with the University of Georgia Extension Service, and was a member of the Barnesville First Baptist Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jessie Dowden Harrison of Barnesville, Ga.; three daughters, Pamela and husband Thomas Toflinkski of Columbus, Ga., Rhonda and husband Ronnie Simmons of Barnesville, Ga., and Sharon Harrison of Barnesville, Ga.; two sons, Ronald and wife Jenny Harrison of Yulee, Fla., and Jessie and wife Jana Shirley of Newman. He is also survived by one sister, Jeneal Bland of Statesboro, Ga.; two brothers, Myron Harrison of Houston, and Jack Harrison of Richmond Hills, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
