Mitch Howard

  Mitch Howard, 66, of Pleasant Hill died Aug. 14, after an extended illness.

  Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Elva Howard of Belmont; a son, Glynn Howard
of Belmont; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Seaman of Springfield, Mo.; three brothers, Chester
Howard of Belmont, Frank and Gussie Howard of Quitman; and two grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at Union Baptist Church Aug. 16, with the Rev. J. P. King,
and the Rev. Walker Ledford officiating. Burial was in Belmont Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Pallbearers were Ralph Callens, Joe E.
Skinner, Rudolph Haley, William E. Craig, Olen Dean Dyess, and Loyd Ford. Honorary
pallbearers were Marvin Carter and Bob Callens.
