All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** Mrs. Leola Hardy Funeral services for Mrs. Leola Hardy, 87, were held Monday, June 14, at 10 a.m., in the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. Officiating at the services was Bishop Fred Wagley, with Otis Ainsworth, and Glen Hardy assisting. Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Hardy died Saturday, June 12, after an extended illness. Surviving relatives are her husband, Arch Hardy of Many; six sons, C. M., and Emmitt Hardy, both of Many, Colemen Hardy of Shreveport; Lorin Hardy of Florien, Orson Hardy of Houston, and Talmadge Hardy of Beaumont; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtie Goodman of Many, and Mrs. Bertie Lee Goodman of Florien; one brother, Ed Cox of Natchitoches, two sisters, Mrs. Eva Kelley of Thackerville, Okla., and Mrs. Ida Cobbs of Mansfield; 43 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Justin L. Hardy, Jerry Hardy, Ricky Hardy, Marvin Hardy, Alton Goodman, and Earl Hardy.
