Joe Neil Heard

  Mr. Joe Neil Heard, 55, of Shreveport, died Wednesday, June 7.

  Funeral services were held Friday, June 9, at 10 a.m., in the
Little Egypt Baptist Church, with the Rev. Thurman Boatright
officiating. Burial was in the Belmont Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Ruby Heard of Shreveport; one son,
Billy Joe Heard of Shreveport, and one daughter, Mrs. Veri Dean
Massey of Shreveport; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Odis Heard of
Belmont; one sister, Mrs. Grace Terrell, Pleasant Hill, and five
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Marvin Carter, Jack Carter, Dug Carter, Troy
Terrell, Darrin Macarkel, and John Brock.
