The Sabine Index - Mrs. J. H. Hardee

  13 May 1938 - Mrs. R. C. Alford was called to the bedside of
her sister Mrs. J. H. Hardee of Gueydan Saturday, who was
seriously ill.  She was accompanied by her children, Mrs.
Quinton Pugh, Mrs. Marshall Petty, and Mr. and Mrs. C. V.
Willison and little Miss Sara of Oak Grove.

  Mrs. Hardee passed away Sunday night and was interred in
Gueydan cemetery.  She was 69 years of age.

  Mrs. Hardee leaves a husband and seven children to mourn her
passing.  She also leaves the following brothers and sisters,
Dr. E. E. Smith, Cypress; Rev. T. E. Smith, St. Louis, Mo.;
Louis Smith, Fort Jesup; S. S. Slomca, Planview, Texas; Mrs.
A. B. Cherry, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Ross Alford, Many.
