Charley Howard

  Charley Henry Howard, of Natchitoches, 81, died Tuesday, August
10.

  Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Wednesday, in Blanchard St.
Denis Funeral Home, with the Rev. J. T. King, and the Rev. Troy
Wheller officiating. Burial was in Coldwater Cemetery.

  Survivors are two sons, William Howard of Channelview, Tex., and
Hugh Howard of Natchitoches; three daughters, Mrs. Charlie Jordan
of Sulphur, Mrs. Geneva Campbell of Belmont, and Mrs. Robert
Miller of Natchitoches; three step daughters, Mrs., Jessie James
Hadgewood, and Mrs. Dessie Spencer, both of Stratford, Calif.,
and Mrs. Amzay Rose of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs.
Ella Ingram of San Angelo, Tex., Mrs. Lillian Tynes of
Shreveport, and Mrs. Jewel Wafer of Natchitoches; and 27
grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren.
