Mr. W. J. (Dick) Heard

  Services for Mr. W. J. (Dick) Heard, 81, were held at 2 p.m.,
Sun. Oct. 31, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Logansport. Rev.
Charles Hall, Rev. Guy Murphrey, and Rev. Jerry Schmucker
officiated. Burial: Christ Memorial Cemetery, Logansport.

  He died Sat. Oct. 29, 1982, at a Mansfield Nursing Home, after a
lengthy illness.

  Survivors include one son, Buster Heard, Logansport; three
daughters, Alice Bivins, Grand Prairie, Tx., Bessie Gean Malone,
Logansport, and Sybil McMillan, Waskam, Tx.; four sisters, Marie
Sloupas, and Annie Bell Erickson, both of Houston, Eva McDonald,
Many, and Clara McDonald, Shreveport; 10 grandchildren; 15 great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Arrangements are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home,
Logansport.
