  C. H. Howard - December 13, 1973

  Charlie Henry Howard Jr., 56, of Robeline died Monday, Dec. 10.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. in the
St. Denis Funeral home chapel with the Rev. H. B. Wilkerson and
the Rev. Wilber Birdwell officiating. Burial was in the Shamrock
Cemetery.

  Survivors include his widow; his father, Charlie H. Howard Sr.
of Hedgewood; and son, Leonard Howard of McAlister, Okla.; one
daughter, Mrs. Roxie Strickland of Robeline; three sisters, Mrs.
Geneva Campbell of Belmont, Mrs. Evelyn Miller of Natchitoches
and Mrs. Arma Bea Jordan of Sulphur; two brothers, Hugh Howard of
Natchitoches and Jessie Howard of Chanel View, Tex.; five
grandchildren.
