Mrs. Leona Essie Howard

  Funeral services for Mrs. Leona Essie Howard, 74, of Many, were
held Friday, April 14, at 4 p.m., at the Warren Meadows Chapel,
with burial following in the Fisher Cemetery. Rev. Bill Hoffman
officiated.

  Mrs. Howard passed away April 13, 1989, at the Sabine Medical
Center in Many.

  She is survived by two daughters, JoAnn Remedies of Zwolle, Mary
Ruth Lawley of Hemphill, Tex.; one brother, Horace V. Horton of
Houston, Tex.; two sisters, Pearl Sibley of Natchitoches, Bessie
Speights of Zwolle; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren;
and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.
