Roy A. Cook, and Ira Campbell officiating. Burial was in the Rocky Mount Cemetery in Natchitoches, with Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home directing. Brian, 14, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1993, at his residence in Natchitoches. Brian was a native, and lifelong resident of Natchitoches. He was a ninth grade student at the Ninth Grade Center in Natchitoches. He was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. He is preceded in death by his father, Mickey Hardy. Survivors include his mother, Debbie Hardy of Natchitoches; one brother, Chris Hardy of Natchitoches; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Hardy of Robeline; paternal great grandfather, Clarence Hardy of Many; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Slater Jr. of Natchitoches; maternal great grandmother, Mrs. I. W. "Mearl" Withers of Robeline. Pallbearers were Lynn Estes, Tom Guess, Merlin Squyres, Grady Cook, Bill Holley, Don Brown. Honorary pallbearers were Donna and Andy Horn, Tammy and Joe Gentry, Jimmy and Melinda Hardy, Paige Horn, Jason, Josh, Melinda, and Natalie Gentry, Missi, Jay, Patience, Patricia, and Brent Hardy; and a special friend, Roger Chapman.
