Visitation as at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, starting at 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Burial was in the Many Cemetery. Mr. Hardy died at Sabine Medical Center in Many, La., on July 16, at 2 p.m. Mr. Hardy was born on May 17, 1912, in Sabine Parish, La., to James Monroe, and Edna Jane Barnhill Hardy. He served in World War II. Mr. Hardy is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtis Louella Strickland Hardy. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Jewel French of Robeline, La., and Mrs. Arline Primm of Shreveport, La.; one brother, Mr. Albert Hardy of Many, La.; a host of nieces and nephews.
