Alleane B. Heard

  Funeral services for Alleane B. Heard, 82, were held at 2:30
p.m., Dec. 10, at First Baptist Church of Converse.

  Rev. Bob Phillips officiated. Interment was in Springhill
Cemetery, Springhill, La., under the direction of Rose-Neath,
Mansfield.

  Mrs. Heard passed away on Thursday, Dec. 8, 1994, at DeSoto
General Hospital, after a brief illness.

  Mrs. Heard was a resident of Converse, and a former resident of
Springhill. She was also a retired owner and operator of an
Insurance agency, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

  Survivors include her widower, Mr. Hamp Heard of Converse; one
brother, Mr. Gus M. Boucher of Mansfield; five nieces, Sylvia
Magee, Martha Boucher, Eileen Weaver, Barbara Lewis, and Barbara
McBennett; two nephews, Robert Boucher, and Greg Boucher.

  Pallbearers were Deacons from the First Baptist Church of
Converse.
