Warren C. Heard

  Funeral services for Warren C. Heard, 58, were held on Jan. 8,
at 1:30 p.m., at Warren Meadows Chapel.

  Rev. Damon B. Hienrich, and Rev. Carolyn Valentine officiated.
Interment was in Fort Jesup Cemetery.

  Mr. Heard was born on Nov. 4, 1936, in Mansfield, to Dorothy
Williams, and Warren Calvin Heard Sr.

  Mr. Heard passed away on Jan. 6, 1995, at DeSoto General
Hospital.

  Mr. Heard was preceded in death by his father, Warren C. Heard
Sr.

  Survivors include his widow, Sarah Ellison Heard of Stanley; one
daughter, Deborah Ann Heard of Gibsland; mother, Dorothy Heard of
Minden; three sisters, Shirley Procell of Minden, Carolyn Mynatt
of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Sarah Gingles of Stanley; four brothers,
Robert W. Heard of Shreveport, Thomas L. Heard of Minden, James
V. Heard of Mansfield, and Patrick L. Heard of Fort Collins,
Colo.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
