Mrs. Gay Kathryn Scott Heard

  Funeral services for Mrs. Gay Kathryn Scott Heard, 55, of Many,
were held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1997, at Lewing
Chapel Church.

  Revs. Hoy Leach, Donnie Paul Lewing, and Otha Greer officiated,
with interment at the Bethsadia Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Heard died Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at LSU Medical Center,
Shreveport.

  She is survived by her husband, Joel Heard of Many; three sons,
Mark, Jason, and John Heard, all of Many; three daughters, Karla
Oglesby of Phoenix, Ariz., Jennifer Skidmore, and Amy Titus, both
of Many; patents, Sam Jr. and Adelaide Scott of Zwolle; one
brother, Robert Edward Scott of Many; four grandchildren, Haley
Heard, Ross Skidmore, and Jacob, and Sarah Heard, all of Many;
and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Gary Oglesby, Robert Titus, Eric Heard, Mike
McConathy, Randy Skidmore, Greg Scott, and Glen Howard.
