Mr. Douglas Lee Howard (Photo)

  Mr. Douglas Lee Howard, 81, of Many, died Tuesday, Oct. 23,
2001, at Sabine Medical Center.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Oct. 26, At Alford
Heights Baptist Church, with interment following at Ft. Jesup
Cemetery. Mr. Dean Crittenden, the Rev. Wayne Stots, and Elder
Johnnie Cobert officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Ethel K. Howard of Many; daughter,
Susan Howard Carnline and husband David of Many; sister, Dottie
and husband Daniel Boone of Iowa; granddaughter, Leah Elizabeth
Carnline of Many; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
