Tillman Howard

  Tillman Howard, 59, of Quitman, died Friday, while at his work
as a forestry fireman.

  Funeral services were held Feb. 10, in the Beech Springs Baptist
Church, with the Rev. L. K. Hartsfield, and the Rev. Artis Smith
officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

  Survivors are his widow; one son, J. P. Howard of Quitman; one
daughter, Mrs. Harold Jones of Jonesboro; four brothers, Chester
Howard, and Mitch Howard, both of Belmont, Frank Howard, and
Gussie Howard, both of Quitman; and three grandchildren.
