(Jack) Hardy, 55, of Many, died suddenly Wednesday, June 8, in Many. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 9, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Elder Mack Hayes Jr. officiating. Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Hardy of Many; six sons, A. G. Jr., Bernice, James, Randy, Doyle, and Norman Hardy, all of Many; three daughters, Cynthia, Janice, and Becky Hardy, all of Many; his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Hardy of Many; seven brothers, Clarence Hardy of Robeline, Coleman Hardy of Shreveport, Curtis Hardy, and Emmett Hardy of Natchitoches, Orson Hardy of Houston, Tex., Lorden Hardy of Florien, and Talmadge Hardy of Beaumont; and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtie Goodman of Many, and Mrs. Vertie Lee Goodman of Florien.
