Hugh Hardee

  Funeral rites for Hugh Hardee, age 51, were held Tuesday at 3
p.m., at the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, with Rev. W. C.
Howell, and Rev. Cecil Salley officiating. Interment was in the
Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of the Drewett
Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his widow; and two daughters, Mrs. Trentice
Johnson, and Miss Martha Hardee; one stepson, Jack Hilton; and
four grandchildren, all of Pleasant Hill.

  Mr. Hardee was killed Monday, by an accidental shotgun blast. He
was preparing to go hunting, and was putting the gun in his car
at his home, when it was discharged. He was struck in the chest,
dieing instantly.
