Hardin Mrs. Guvernia Maloney Hardin, 77, of Nederland, Tex., died in M. D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, on Wednesday, March 1, following a lengthy illness. A native of Many, Mrs. Hardin had resided in the Port Arthur area for the past 55 years. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Maloney of Many. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, March 4, in the Grammiere - Oberle Funeral Chapel in Port Arthur. Burial was in the Green Lawn Memorial Park in Port Arthur, where she was buried next to her husband, Thad O. Hardin, who died in 1949. Mrs. Hardin is survived by three daughters, Muriel Roll of Port Arthur, Lois V. Lawler of Cream Ridge, N. J., and Frances Griffin of Nederland, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Seamans of Many; 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were G. B. Graham, Mike Roll, Randy Roll, Douglas Bostright, Paul Rabuck, Aubrey Sudduth, Robert Bradberry, and Lynas Huff. Honorary pallbearers were Thomas Thad Griffin, and Michael Patrick Griffin.
