Mrs. Exa Horton

  Mrs. Exa (Ma) Horton, 86, of Many, died in Fisher Hospital on
Sunday, July 2, at 11:45 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include eight daughters, Linda Stroud, Nancy Carroll,
Bobbie Pitt, and Lona Ford, all of Florien; Trudie Stroud, and
Billie Hammond, both of Many, Maggie Du Hamel of Stonewall, and
Annie Mae Howell of Manteca, Calif.; two brothers, S. P.
Randolph, and A. G. Randolph, both of Many; 34 grandchildren; 72
great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held in the Gandy Baptist Church on
Tuesday, July 4, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Houston Tibbitts, the
Rev. Gary Hamilton, and the Rev. C. E. Bell officiating. Burial
was in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.
