Louis Speights Horton

  Louis Speights Horton, 89, of Anacoco, died in the Fraser
Hospital North, Wednesday, Aug. 12, at 2:15 p.m.

  Funeral services were held in the Hornbeck Pentecostal Church on
Friday, Aug. 14, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Doyle Carpenter, and
the Rev. Billy White officiating. Burial was in the Fisher
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Horton is survived by six daughters, Lucille Dixon, Elsie
Clark, Melba Pruitt, and Estelle Burns, all of Anacoco, Miriam
Eason of Many, and Dorothy Sanders of Mobile, Ala.; seven sons,
Ivy Lee Horton, Williard Horton, Merle Horton, and Billy Horton,
all of Anacoco, Alvin Horton, and Johnny Horton of Leesville, and
Cecil Horton of Pelican; 33 grandchildren; and 33 great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were his grandsons.
