All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** Sybil Hardin Funeral services for Sybil Hardin, 33, of Baytown, were held Monday, Oct. 14, 1996, at 2 p.m., at Cenchrea Church of the Nazarene in Cenchrea Community. Interment was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Hardin passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, in a Houston Hospital. She moved to Baytown 33 years ago, where she attended Lee College Nursing School. After graduating, Sybil took a job with the Old Baytown Hospital, which is now Bay Coast Medical Center, and retired from there in 1991, after 30 years of service. She is survived by two sons, Skip Hardin of Houston, and Carl Hardin of Baytown; one daughter, Ruby Jean Edwards of Crosby; brothers, Nolan Smith of Shreveport, and Alton Smith of Florien; sisters, Opal Smith of Many, Theo Peterson of DeRidder, and Joyce Landrum of Monroe; grandchildren, Elvin Gill, Donna Adcox, and Tommy Gill, all of Baytown, Frank Hardin of Lake Charles, Jessica Hardin, and Bill Hardin, both of Humble, Tex.; great grandchildren, English Adcox, Autumn Gill, and Cheyenne Rainey, all of Baytown.
