Horn. 52, of Shreveport. were held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3 at the Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. The Rev. Neil Gass. pastor of the Life Tabernacle and the Rev. Bill Stowell, pastor of Emanuel Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in Centuries Memorial Park. Mr. Horn, a native of Pleasant Hill, died at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan 1, at Willis-Knighton Hosptial following a sudden illness. Mr. Horn had resided in Shreveport since 1952 and was co-owner of Horn and Ross Plumbing Co. He was an elder of Life Tabernacle, state representative of the Blue Tick Breeder and Coon Hunters' Assn., and a member of Southern Coon Hunters' Assn. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary B. Horn; his mother, Mrs. Iola Horn; four sons, Roy Horn, Jr., Richard Horn, Russell Horn and Steve Horn; one daughter Diane Horn, all of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Doris Purvis of Savannah, Ga. and Mrs. Dot Sutphin of Shreveport; four brothers, Gerlad Horn of Springfield, Mo., Bob Horn, Doug Horn and Glenn Horn, all of Shreveport, and one grandson, Jeremy Horn.
