C. W. Williams officiating; interment in the Many cemetery under the direction of Dennis-Green funeral home. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Rosa Ramsey Horn; one son, James Ramsey Horn, Oklahoma; four daughters, Mrs. S. F. Fraser, Mrs. Ruth Horn Phares, Misses Bessie and Evelyn Horn of Many; four brothers, L. G., C. L., C. C., and Loma Horn; two sisters, Mrs. Homer Thompson and Mrs. L. W. Blackwell; six grandchildren. Active pallbearers were: W. M. Knott, Robert Jackson, J. H. Ritter, S. J. William, Edwin Fraser and George Sirman. Mr. Horn passed away at the family home Sunday morning at 5:30 after a long illness, was one of the well-known and loved citizens of Many and Sabine parish. Until confined to his bed four years ago he was an active deacon of the First Baptist church for 15 years, also served as superintendent of Sunday school for seven years and treasurer of the church for several years, was a member of the Masonic lodge for 35 years. Mr. Horn served as vice president and cashier of the Sabine State Bank & Trust company from 1918 until confined to his bed four years past. He was active in civic affairs, filled an unexpired term as police juror of ward four, was highly interested in the people of Sabine parish and its development.
