Hearron, 80, were held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 3, in Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. The Rev. Fisk Ray, associate pastor of Willow Point Baptist Church, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Jerry Gill, pastor of Lakeside Baptist Church. Burial was at Forest Park West. Mr. Hearron, a native of Stamps, Ark., died at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31, 1986, in Willis Knighton Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. He had been a resident of Shreveport since 1956. He was a retired carman welder for KCS and LNA Railroads. He was a member of Willow Point Baptist Church, the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen of the United States and Canada; and Mt. Erie Lodge No. 267. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jewell D. Hearron of Shreveport; one son, William Hearron and wife Marilyn of Shreveport; two daughters, Beckie Alsup of Shreveport, Sue Nelson and husband Harbey of Shreveport, and Lima, Peru; one sister, Edna Ruth Daniel of Patterson, La.; five brothers, Houston Hearron of Sugar Land, Tex., Rev. J. R. Hearron of Converse, Ed Hearron of Minden, Hiram Hearron of Hughes Springs, Tex.; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Sam Merritt, Patrick Hearron, Don Hearron, Claude Dolese Jr., Steve Adcock, William N. Hearron, Ed Hearron, and Bo Bullock. Honorary pallbearers were the Fellowship Sunday School Class at Willow Point Baptist Church.
