All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** James Ramsey Horn Funeral services for James Ramsey Horn, 55, who died Saturday, Jan. 18, at his home in Alva, Okla., were held Monday, Jan. 20, in St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Alva, with the Rev. David Powell officiating. Burial was in the Alva Municipal Cemetery. A native of Many, Mr. Horn, served as a captain in the 182nd Airborne Division during World War II. He owned a lumber yard in Alva, where he had lived for 21 years. He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur William Hall of Cannon Air Force Base, N. M., and Mrs. John Higgins of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Mrs. Swepson F. Fraser, and Miss Bessie Horn, both of Many, Mrs. Nathan A. Hall of Virginia Beach, Va., and Mrs. A. B. McMillon of Birmingham, Ala.; and two grandchildren.
