P. A. Hearne

  Paul Alexander Hearne, 73, died Monday, Dec. 19, in Rushing's
Nursing Home in Wyatt.

  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 20, in the
Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church near Shreveport, with the Rev.
Colvin O. Latuyade, and the Rev. Odis Smith officiating. Burial
was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, under the direction of Edmonds
Funeral Home.

  Survivors are two sons, Coye Hearne, and Hurist Hearne, both of
Chatham; four daughters, Mrs. Bernice Ellis, and Mrs. Gleva Mae
Martin, both of West Monroe, Mrs. Mary Evelyn Kennedy of Many,
and Mrs. Effie Morgan of Hattiesburg, Miss.; two brothers, Clyde
Hearne of Chatham, and Clevy Hearne of Newman, Ga.; five sisters,
Mrs. Ruby Thompson, Mrs. Leva Leonard, and Mrs. Lillie Fooke, all
of West Monroe, and Mrs. Estelle Cool of Chatham, and Mrs. Jewel
Edwards of Grayson; 16 grandchildren; and six great
grandchildren.
