Horn, age 62 years, were held Tuesday at 10 o'clock, at the First Methodist Church, with Rev. Kelly Fitzgerald officiating. Interment was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Funeral Home. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Edith Horn; mother, Mrs. L. B. Horn, Belmont; one brother, Joseph Horn, Lawton, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Lola Austin, Belmont, and Mrs. Nettie McMichael of Natchitoches. Pallbearers were Auris Hays, Raymond Barnhill, Kenneth Williams, Elden Dees, Judge Wm. H. Ponder, Truman Nichols, Kenneth Nichols, and Sheriff T. M. Phillips. Mr. Horn passed away Monday, after a brief illness. He was born at Belmont, and came to Many early in life, where he attended and graduated from Many High School, working in drug stores, and later attended School of Pharmacy. He became partner with the late E. M. Fraser of Many Drug Co., later going into business at the present location, Horn Drug Store. He was interested in the civic affairs of Many, having served as a council member for 24 years, being elected first in 1929. In 1957, he was elected Mayor, and served in this capacity for the past three years. He figured in the progress of Many for the past many years, keenly interested in good government and progress. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, and the Masonic Lodge.
