Governor R. Horn

  Last rites for Governor R. Horn, age 52, who was killed
accidentally in a car wreck Monday, June 9, were held at Belmont
Baptist Church, at 3 p.m., Thursday, June 12, with the Rev. O. S.
Roberts officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. G. R. Horn Sr. of DeQuincy; sons,
Governor R. Jr., Rolland S. Horn, both of DeQuincy; daughter,
Mrs. Olive Ann Walker of Baltimore, Md.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.
B. Horn of Belmont; brothers, Alton Horn of Many, Joseph Horn of
Ft. Sill, Okla.; sisters, Mrs. Lola Austin of Belmont, Mrs.
Nettie McMichael of Natchitoches; and two grandchildren.
