Horn Sr., age 53, brother of Mayor O. A. Horn of Many, was accidentally killed Monday night, when he smashed into the rear of a truck on the Many - Pleasant Hill Highway. Mr. Horn was returning to his home in DeQuincy, after visiting his father who is ill. State police stated that the truck had no tail lights, and he was apparently blinded by the lights of an approaching vehicle. Mr. Horn is survived by his widow; two sons, Governor R. Horn Jr. of DeQuincy, Roland S. Horn with the U. S. Army in Formosa; one daughter, Mrs. Olive Walker of Baltimore, Md.; two brothers, O. A. Horn of Many, Joseph Horn of Fort Sill, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie McMichael of Natchitoches, Mrs. Lola Austin of Belmont; parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Horn of Belmont. Funeral services are incomplete, pending the arrival of a son from Formosa.
