The Sabine Index - Nannie Herrington

  July 19, 1973

  Nannie Herrington, 82, of Florien died Wednesday, July 11,
following an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held in the Middle Creek Baptist Church
Friday, July 13 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Arthur Hayman and the
Rev. Brent Fleming officiating. Interment was in the Middle Creek
Cemetery.

  Survivors include her husband; five sons, Kermit, Willie, Norman
and Dalton Herrington all of Florien and J. C. Herrington of
Leesville; four brothers, Franklin Gandy of Bellwood; George
Gandy of Kelly, Mack Gandy of Provencal and Edward Gandy of
Pineville; four sisters Mrs. Penola Cheeves of Boyce, Della
Speights of Many, Verna Smith of Crossett, Ark., Emma Miller of
Kirbyville, Tex.; 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Billy Mac Herrington, Larry Herrington, John
Skinner, Horace Herrington, Earl Hayman and Nickey Daniel.
