All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** Earnest Thurman Herrington (Photo) Mr. Earnest Thurman Herrington, 73, of Negreet, passed away in the Sabine Medical Center in Many, on Aug. 29, 1985, at 9:30 p.m. Services were held in the Beulah Baptist Church on Sept. 1, 1985, at 2 p.m. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery. Pallbearers include Rick Tedder, Mark Ussery, Keith Ussery, Gino Parler, David Britt, Buddy Herrington, Don White, and Herman Ray Rogers. Honorary pallbearers include Wayne Pontiff, Larry Painter, Mike Herrington, and Jim Gabbert. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Edna Herrington of Negreet; nine daughters, Viola Dyson of Many, Frances Baker of Hammond, Joy White of Florien, Joyce Ann Cooper, and Glenda Howell, both of Alexandria, Althas Parler, Faye Painter, Linda Rogers, and Kathy Tedder, all of Negreet; six brothers, Bill Herrington, and Hilman Herrington, both of Sandersville, Miss., Theodore Herrington of Oak Grove, Rook Herrington of Hobbs, new Mexico, Donald Herrington of Reform, Ala., and Lloyd Herrington of Kentucky; four sisters, Frances Bridges of Chicago, Ill, Minnie Shedd, and Velma McCraney, both of Sandersville, Miss., and Helen Gabbert of Valparaiso, Fla.; 33 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services were under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
