Mr. Mark Ray Hornsby

  Mr. Mark Ray Hornsby, 82, of Marthaville, died Thursday, August
7, at Sabine Medical Center.

  Mr. Hornsby was born in Coleman County, Texas. He retired as an
insurance salesman.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 9, at Les
Fontaine Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at
Marthaville Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Thibeau, pastor of First
Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill, officiated.

  Survivors include his widow of 48 years, Evelyn Hornsby of
Marthaville; two sons, Frank Hornsby and wife Sherry of Anacoco,
and Roger Hornsby and wife Kandace of Zwolle; one daughter, Mary
Byles and husband Valmore of Many; one brother, Leonard Hornsby
of Zwolle; three sisters, Alma Bryan, and Nora Snider, both of
Coleman, Texas, and Christine Puckett of Austin, Texas; six
grandsons; and one great grandson.

  Pallbearers were Wade Hornsby, Kyle Hornsby, Robby Byles, Blake
Byles, Gale Byles, and Steve Rains. Honorary pallbearer was Jake
Hornsby.
