Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m., in the St. John Catholic Church, with Msgr. T. J. Lennon officiating. Burial was in the St. John Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her husband, Henry Hernandez of Many; one son, Elton Ray Hernandez of Many; three daughters, Mrs. Rita Mae Sepulvado of Lake Charles, Mrs. Annie Bell Leach of Shreveport, and Mrs. Mary Ethel Remedies of Lake Charles; one brother, Melvin Pourciau of Port Allen; two sisters, Mrs. Nola P. Nayer, and Mrs. Elouise Ellis of Baton Rouge; one half brother, Lynn Pourciau of Port Allen, and one half sister, Mrs. Ema Lee Lefevre of Port Allen; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Bruce Gailbraith, Danny Leach, Melvin Wright, Melvin Sepulvado, Shorty Muse, and Hosea Ebarb.
