Mrs. Della Hernandez

  Mrs. Della Hernandez, 64, of Bunkie, died at 6:30 a.m.,
Saturday, Feb. 24, at her home.

  She is survived by her husband, Lewis Hernandez of Bunkie; two
sons, Lewis Hernandez Jr. of Cheneyville, and Lester Hernandez of
Bunkie; four daughters, Mrs. Clinton Fontenot, and Mrs. Clifton
McGee, both of St. Landry, Mrs. Neal Armand of Nederland, Tex.,
and Mrs. James Coco of Marksville; two brothers, Joseph Maxie of
Shreveport, and Merdice Maxie of Zwolle; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy
Procell of Coushatta, and Mrs. Agnes Leonia of Zwolle, and 23
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 25, in the
Church of the Little Flower at Evergreen, with Rev. Harve Lejoie
officiating. Burial was in the Pythian cemetery, under direction
of Hixson Bros. of Bunkie.

  Pallbearers were Albert Procell, Roy Procell, Joe Procell,
Robert Procell, Wilbert Maxey, and Clayton Flores.
