All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ** Leonard Harmer Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 17, at 2:00 p.m., for Leonard Harmer, 31, who died Thursday, at P & S Hospital, Shreveport, with 3rd degree burns over three-fourths of his body, sustained in a truck accident on Monday, near Converse. Mr. Harmer was employed by Earl Gibbons Petroleum Transport of Shreveport. The services were held in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with Elder W. M. Muse officiating, and assisted by Elders Hilmer Muse, and Scott Hendricks, all of Salt Lake City. Interment was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home. Pallbearers were cousins, Bob Buvens, Bill Buvens, A. J. Muse, Perry Muse, James Robert Muse, Douglas Strickland, Tommy Joe Andries, and friend, Billie Wingate. Survivors are one daughter, Donna Jean Harmer of Many; mother, Mrs. Lucille Wright of Many; and father, Jeff Harmer of Richmond, Calif.
