Evie Jacobs Irvin

  Mrs. Evie Jacobs Irvin of Gretna, La., died Wednesday, May 25,
1983, at 4:15 a.m., at West Jefferson Hospital in Marrero, La.
She passed away after an extended illness, at the age of 89.

  Funeral services were held Friday, May 27, at 10 a.m., at Warren
Meadows Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was held at Noble
Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home. Bro. C. W. Hogan officiated at the services.

  She is preceded in death by her husband, the late Mr. O. L.
Irvin, and one son, the late Edgar Leslie Irvin. Surviving
relatives include one daughter, Pearl Micas of Gretna; three
granddaughters; nine great grandchildren; and 2 great-great
grandchildren.
