Jabbia, 79, of Natchitoches died Sunday, June 13, 1999 at her son's residence in Denham Springs. Mrs. Jabbia was a retired beautician. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Natchitoches. She was a teacher of cosmetology at the LA state school for girls in Alexandria. She was also a members of the Association for the Preservation for Historic Natchitoches the Catholic Daughters of America. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 16 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Natchitoches with interment following at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. Father Ken Roy will officiate. Survivors include her husband, John Jabbia, Sr. of Natchitoches; one son and daughter-in-law, John Jr. and Mari Jabbia of Denham Springs; two grandchildren, Brandon and Christen Jabbia; two brothers-in-law, V. A. and Joe Jabbia; four sisters-in-law, Rosa J. Leone, Corrine Digilormo, Mamie Leone Jabbia and Laura Leone Jabbia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jabbia was preceded in death by parents, Wesley I, and Pauline Small Snell; one sister, Maggie S. Norris; and three brothers, Wesley, William and J. B. Snell.
