Rev. Leger Tremblay, pastor of the church, officiated. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery. She died Monday, July 19, at Willis Knighton Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Jacks, born in Zwolle, and a resident of Shreveport 28 years, was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Jacks of Shreveport; father, Emmitt Remedies of Zwolle; three sons, Robert E. Jacks, and Gerald Wayne Carrothers of Shreveport, and Michael Dewayne Remedies of Zwolle; four daughters, Felecia P. Jacks of Shreveport, Monica Lynn Armstrong, Regina Marie Remedies, and Linda Charlene Meshell of Zwolle; two brothers, Claude Ray Remedies of Zwolle, and Walter Earl Remedies of Humble, Tex.; seven sisters, Marie Remedies, and Elizabeth Ann Bennett of Zwolle, Carolyn Lee Quint of Garland, Tex., Sally Joyce of Bloomington, Calif., Patsy Miller of Blanchard, Stella Lively of Shreveport, and Juanita Roy of Bossier City. Pallbearers were Trenton Lively, Lennis Meshell, Darryl Armstrong, Mike Scott, Thomas Remedies, and Gordon Ray Bennett.
