The Sabine Index - Mrs. Dorothy Jacobs

  24 Sep 1943 - Mrs. Dorothy Jacobs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Ed Campbell, passed away Sept. 13 at St. Joseph's hospital,
Houston, Texas, as the age of 23 years, one month and three days.
The body was brought to Many for burial. Interment was in Mt.
Zion cemetery under the direction of Drewitt funeral home,
Mansfield. Rev. Leon Lowder, pastor Mt. Zion Baptist church,
officiated, assisted by Rev. C. W. Williams and Rev. B. J.
Tidwell of Many.

  Mrs. Jacobs was employed in Houston, Texas, by the Hughes Tool
company as a machinist since February.

  She is survived by her husband, Alex Jacobs; two children,
Doris and Sidney; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Campbell; one sister,
Gladys; three brothers, Clyde, Ed, Jr., and Billy Ray, all of
Many.
