Ollie D. Jacobs

  Services for Ollie D. Jacobs, 70, of Pleasant Hill, were held at
2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, in First Baptist Church, with the Rev.
Adrian Pater, and the Rev. Vernon Stephenson officiating. Burial
was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

  Mrs. Jacobs died Thursday night, Jan. 17, in Pleasant Hill
General Hospital, after a long illness.

  Survivors include husband, Culley Jacobs of Pleasant Hill;
daughters, Nelwyn Watson of Shreveport, and Hazel Carroll of
Marthaville; brothers, Robert E. Johnson, and Phillip Johnson,
both of Shreveport, and A. D. Johnson of Pleasant Hill; sisters,
Ethel Rivers of Dadeville, Ala., Mattie Richardson of Big Spring,
Tex., and Elnora Crawford of Waverly, Ala.; and six
grandchildren.
