John M. (Bud) Jacobs, Jr.

  Services for Mr. John M. (Bud) Jacobs Jr., 49, of Pleasant Hill,
were held Sunday, January 17, 1993, at 3:30 p.m., in the First
Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill. Interment followed in Spring
Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield
Chapel.

  Mr. Jacobs was born in Pleasant Hill. He died Thursday, January
14, 1993, at DeSoto General Hospital. He was a steel melter, and
a member of the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill.

  He was preceded in death by his father, John M. Jacobs Sr.

  He is survived by his mother, Claudine Jacobs of Pleasant Hill,
La.; one son, Timothy Duane Jacobs of Shreveport, La.; two
daughters, Rhonda Jacobs Ott of Pelican, La., and Vonda Gail
Jacobs of Shreveport, La.; four sisters, Elizabeth Freeman of
Mansfield, La., Ann Wilson of Freeport, Fla., Barbara Hammett of
Price, Tex., Janet Behan of Minot, N. D.; five brothers, Cecil
Jacobs of Pleasant Hill, La., James (Jake) Jacobs of Mansfield,
La., Wayne Jacobs of Colorado City, Colo., Eugene Jacobs of
Shreveport, La., Ray Jacobs of Hall Summit, La.; one grandson,
Jeffrey Adam Ott; and a host of nieces and nephews; and other
relatives and friends.
