R. C. Jacobs

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 27, for Robert Clinton
Jacobs, 59, who passed away Monday, April 26, after an extended
illness. Bishop Fred Wagley officiated at the services, which
were held at the Church of Latter Day Saints. Interment was at
Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Pallbearers were H. C. Jacobs Jr., W. B. Jacobs, Joe Jacobs,
Glenn Barr, H. R. Barr, and David Barr.

  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Wylene Jacobs of Many; three
daughters, Mrs. Mazel Dean McDonald of Natchitoches, Mrs. Vern
Scroggins of Leesville, Mrs. Olevia Lee of Baton Rouge; two
brothers, Henry C. Jacobs of Lufkin, Texas, George G. Jacobs of
Freeport, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Scott of Forest, Texas,
Mrs. H. L. Barr of Houston; nine grandchildren; and two great
grandchildren.
