The Sabine Index - Richard Allen Jackson 
  
  31 Mar 1939 - Funeral services for Richard Allen Jackson, 
six-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Jackson of Port Arthur, 
Texas, were conducted at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, at 
Grammier Chapel, Port Arthur, Rev. Oscar Perkins, pastor of the 
Memorial Baptist church, conducted the services with interment in 
Greenlawn cemetery. 
  
  The child died of pneumonia and subsequent complications at 
11:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's hospital after an illness of 20 
days. 
  
  Besides his parents he is survived by a sister, Loretta Joyce, 
of Port Arthur, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Jackson 
and Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Hardin, all of Many.
