Jackson, Sr. 12 May 1961 - Funeral services for Thomas B. Jackson, Sr., age 83 who passed away at a hospital in Natchitoches, Sunday, afternoon, April 30th, after a long illness, were held at Central Baptist Church, near Robeline, at 12 noon Monday, May 1st with Rev. Oliver Roberts officiating. Interment was in the Church Cemetery under the direction of First National Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Mr. Jackson a retired timber inspector and farmer, was the son of the late Thomas Clarke Jackson and the late Mrs. E. S. DeBose of Many. Mr. Jackson was member of the Coldwater Baptist Church and had been Deacon for 32 years. Masonic rites were held at the graveside. He is survived by his widow, two sons, T. B. Jackson, Jr., and the Rev. Billy Jackson, all of Natchitoches, one daughter, Mrs. Oralys McKennon of Mansfield, and nine grandchildren, two brothers, Grover H DeBose of Many, and Louis M. DeBose of Coushatta.
