Jackson, Sr. 23 Dec 1968 - Funeral services for C. V. Jackson, Sr., 64, of Many were held Sunday, Dec. 22 in the Ft. Jesup Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Penfield officiating. Interment was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Jackson died Saturday, Dec. 21, following a short illness. He was a member of the Board of Valley Electric Membership Corp. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Oleta Jackson of Many; tow son, Corley V. and Jimmy Jackson both of Many; his mother, Mrs. Virgil Jackson of Coushatta; a brother, Claude Jackson of Coushatta; five sisters, Mrs. Edna Adams, Mrs. Hiram Kees, and Mrs. Dorothy Guin all of Coushatta, Mrs. Lucille Wafer and Mrs. Kathryn Harville both of Bossier City; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Adam Key, T. D. Nichols, Don Barnhill, A. P. Wood, Reece Bray, Jack Brown, J. Reuel Boone and Horace Tompkins.
