  Lorena D. Jackson, 81, died May 19, 2001, in Jennings.

  Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Monday, May 21, at
Bethsadia Baptist Church in Many, with interment following at
Bethsadia Cemetery. Brother Russell DeVore, and Bro. Tommy DeVore
officiated.

  Survivors include four children, Johnny and wife, Annette
Jackson of Boyce, Louise and husband Gerald Moore of Many, Louis
and wife Deloris Jackson of Scott, and Ivy Lee and wife Roseanna
Jackson of Jennings; three brothers, Milton, Carroll and wife
Dorothy, and Preston and wife Betty; 14 grandchildren, Bobby and
wife Becky, Gerald Jr. and wife Dena, Tina and husband Fred,
Stephanie Jackson, Jay Jackson, Melissa Jackson, Jr. Jackson, Amy
Jackson, D. J. Jackson, Jason Jackson, Tessie Jackson, Elizabeth
Jackson, Ivy Lee II Jackson, and Adam Jackson; 12 great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Celiza and Adam David;
husband, Louis W. Jackson; brother, Camill David; and sisters,
Rena, and Agnes Lemaire.

  Pallbearers were Gerald Moore Jr., Fred King, Tina King, Ivy Lee
Jackson II, Elizabeth Jackson, Jay Jackson II, Herb Licks, and
Randy Pantalion. Honorary pallbearers were Adam Jackson, Carroll
David, Milton David, and Stephanie Jackson.
