Kyle Smith officiating. Interment was at Plain Dealing Cemetery, at 1 p.m., Thursday. Mr. Jackson, a native of Ida, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. The son of Johnnie Jackson, and Agnes Ann Brown Jackson, he was born Oct. 25, 1913. He was retired from Arkla Gas Co., and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He had lived in Pittsburg since 1961. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary C. Jackson, July 12, 1985. He is survived by two daughters, Clemmie Duke of Pittsburg, Texas, and Myrtis Clements of Plain Dealing; two brothers, Lonnie Jackson of Converse, and Archie Jackson of Shreveport; two sisters, Ester Price of Humble, Texas, and Velder Elliot of Shreveport. Pallbearers were members of the Masonic Lodge.
