Jackson Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy D. Jackson, 30, of Converse, were held Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 9 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle. The Very Rev. Monsignor Robert C. Friend officiated. Burial, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many, was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson died in Converse, Oct. 19, at 2:20 a.m., after a short illness. Survivors include her husband, Larry Jackson of Bossier City; three daughters, Terry Lynn, Sherry, and Cherry, all of Bossier City; her father, Willie Bison of Noble; her mother, Dorothy Bison of Zwolle; four brothers, Albert Bison, and Willis Doyle of Shreveport, and Roy, and Willie Bison, both of Zwolle; two sisters, Trennie Belle Moray of Shreveport, and Elsie Raye Ferguson of Zwolle; and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lena Bison of Noble. Pallbearers were Wilson Martinez, Thomas Mora, Charles Sepulvado, Simon Ebarb, Virgil Sepulvado, and J. W. Longoria.
