Willie Mae Berel Jackson

  Willie Mae Berel Jackson, 86, of Many, died Monday, Feb. 3,
2003, at Nexium Healthcare North. Services will be held at 2
p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 5, at First Baptist Church of Florien. The
Revs. Kenneth Leach, and Hoy Leach will officiate. Interment will
follow in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Jackson was born Dec. 11, 1916, in Sabine Parish, to Joseph
and Alice (Lewing) Berel.

  Survivors include three daughters, Marlene Pitt of Many, Sharon
Rollins of Azel, Texas, and Sandra Sue Potter of Elmer; one son,
Charles Earnest Jackson of Florien; 12 grandchildren; 15 great
grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a host of
nieces, nephews, and friends.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie B. Jackson;
father, Joseph Berel; mother, Alice Lewing Berel; and daughter,
Charlene Wilbanks.
